As a tourist, I really enjoyed this cafe! I had my bockwurst on the pavement with a view of the Schloss and the church. Very nice atmosphere, and the food was tasty. I think I ate some of the famous 'alter rezept' bread (but forgot to ask). The lady behind the counter was very friendly.

A very cozy coffee in the quiet market in Colditz. We were here to take a look at the castle and this café was recommended to us and we were completely satisfied. As already said by others, the cake was great and the femininity had a chocolate sundae and was completely satisfied. So the price-performance ratio is perfectly fine here too. Rather, an important question is, do you get a parking space? So we with our "little one" had less of a problem.
